PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER

Julie Edwards

I worked in Corporate America for 26 years before joining our family's custom home building business.  I  began designing homes for our clients and they were so satisfied with their experience, that they began to recommend me to their friends and family and the design business took on a life of its own.

My passion is to work with clients to design their dream home. I love seeing their faces when they can see what their home will look like in virtual reality. Some people can look at a house plan and visualize their home, but many people don’t have the experience to understand how the home will look once it is complete.  I give them the unique experience of looking at each living space to insure it will work for their family.  I love the challenge of making a clients dream come  true.

I have a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University and happily live in New Braunfels, TX with my husband and two children.  I enjoy cooking, traveling, scuba diving and trying new adventures.

I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a minor in Fine Arts. I worked for several years in commercial interior design and became NCIDQ certified to achieve state registration.

Interior design has always been an interest of mine since I was in middle school and had a project to design our dream home. I have a passion for space planning and creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing environments to meet a client's needs. I love crafting innovative solutions that maximize efficiency and make every nook and cranny count.

When I am not working I have a diverse range of hobbies and interests that reflect my creativity and attention to detail. I love to garden, build miniatures, make jewelry, watercolor, and digital art.

I was born and raised in Indiana, and moved to Texas with my husband and son in 2015. I have fallen in love with and live in New Braunfels. I enjoy spending time outside with my family, swimming and walking trails with our dog.

I graduated from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

I grew up in a small town in east Texas. I always had an interest in design and decided to pursue it after years of working in child care. This taught me time management and communication skills that I use everyday

My goal is to integrate cohesion between spaces and find innovative solutions to optimizing functionality and aesthetic appeal.

In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and traveling to new places. The experience of different lifestyles often gives me inspiration.

Growing up I discovered my passion for design through games like The Sims where I spent most of my time creating elaborate homes for pixelated families. This interest led me to enroll in STEM Academy in San Antonio, TX where I learned the fundamentals of design. I went on to graduate from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

My favorite part of the design process is making our clients’ visions a reality. Whether that's a new build or maintaining the character of an older home while updating for a modern lifestyle.

Outside of designing homes, I still enjoy playing video games, watching horror movies with my family, and traveling the world, sketchbook in hand.
