PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER

Julie Edwards

After 26 years in Corporate America, I made a big shift and joined our family’s custom home building business—and that’s where I found my true passion. I started designing homes for our clients, and before long, their excitement and referrals helped the design side of our business grow naturally. What began as a way to support our builds quickly became something I genuinely love doing every day.

Designing dream homes is the part of my work that energizes me most. I especially enjoy the moment clients see their future home in virtual reality for the first time. Some people can read a floor plan and instantly visualize the space, but many can’t picture how it will feel once it’s built. That’s where I come in. I walk clients through each room virtually so they can experience the flow, the scale, and the details—making sure every space truly fits their family. Helping someone’s vision come to life never gets old.

I’m a proud graduate of Kansas State University, and I live in New Braunfels, Texas with my husband and our two children. When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me cooking, traveling, scuba diving, or saying yes to a new adventure.

LEAD

DESIGNER

Jennifer Patterson

I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a minor in Fine Arts. I worked for several years in commercial interior design and became NCIDQ certified to achieve state registration.

Interior design has always been an interest of mine since I was in middle school and had a project to design our dream home. I have a passion for space planning and creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing environments to meet a client's needs. I love crafting innovative solutions that maximize efficiency and make every nook and cranny count.

When I am not working I have a diverse range of hobbies and interests that reflect my creativity and attention to detail. I love to garden, build miniatures, make jewelry, watercolor, and digital art.

I was born and raised in Indiana, and moved to Texas with my husband and son in 2015. I have fallen in love with and live in New Braunfels. I enjoy spending time outside with my family, swimming and walking trails with our dog.

Growing up I discovered my passion for design through games like The Sims where I spent most of my time creating elaborate homes for pixelated families. This interest led me to enroll in STEM Academy in San Antonio, TX where I learned the fundamentals of design. I went on to graduate from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

My favorite part of the design process is making our clients’ visions a reality. Whether that's a new build or maintaining the character of an older home while updating for a modern lifestyle.

Outside of designing homes, I still enjoy playing video games, watching horror movies with my family, and traveling the world, sketchbook in hand.

DESIGN

ASSISTANT

Lauren Massie

I am currently a senior at Texas State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a focus in Interior Design. Through my studies, I’ve gained hands-on experience with residential design, space planning, and creating spaces that feel both functional and personal.

I grew up in a suburb of Dallas and started pursuing design during my junior year of high school, which is where my passion for interior design really began. I love getting to use my creativity to help bring clients’ ideas to life and make spaces feel like home. Outside of design, I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and making the most of my time away from the studio.
